TrainingMask Breathing Warm Up Protocol #1 - 1. 5-7 sets (working successively into the next set w/ no breaks) of inhale through nose only (make sure to count how long it takes). 2. Hold breath 3-4X's of what it took to inhale (example: if it took 2" to inhale, you will hold your breath 6-8"). 3. Exhale 2X's (double) the time it takes you to inhale. Focus on drawing the inhale from the belly, not the rib cage and try not to let the shoulders lift as this starts to draw us away from using the diaphragm correctly.
