How to wear TrainingMask® 3.0 & Assembly

Putting on the TrainingMask® is a very simple process. First apply the mask to your face over your nose and mouth. Next, fasten the mask around the rear of your head using the Velcro fastener. Once the mask is applied, gently tug the sleeve around the ear slit upwards on your head so that your ears are completely
through the slit. Once the mask is secure on your head and face, take a deep breath to check the seal. There should not be any air escaping around the outside of the mask (where the mask meets your face).

Applying the Sleeve to the TrainingMask® 3.0

Start by matching the threads of the sleeve with the bottom part of the face plate inlet opening with the NXT FORC3 dial. While applying consistent pressure to bottom of inlet opening at the dial, slowly stretch the sleeve vertically over the top of the face plate.

***Note: Cap must be ON to apply sleeve to mask***

After the sleeve is completely secure to the mask, stretch the sleeve material so that it is flush with the re-breather (mask).

Removing the Face Plate of the TrainingMask® 3.0

Place firm pressure on the faceplate from the palm of your hand (thumb pad area of palm) in the center of the face plate. Next, grasp the lip of the face plate with your finger and push down with your palms the cap upwards.

While wearing the TrainingMask 3.0, adjusting the NXT FORC3 dial to the LEFT makes breathing less challenging, whereas turning the dial to the RIGHT adds more tension to the breathing muscles thereby making it more challenging to inhale.

The wider blocks on the NXT FORC3 dial mean that air flow is
HIGHER (making it easier to breathe). The narrow blocks indicate that air flow is LOWER which will increase the load on your breathing muscles (making it more challenging to breathe)
